Leslie was born and raised in Texas. She graduated with a BS from the UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS at Austin and has an MFA from the AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE in cinematography. The Fifth Episode of the series CO-ED she shot for NBC/SnapChat was listed as the most inventive episode of Television of 2018 in The New Yorker Magazine. Recently she shot the series UnMade for IMDB/Amazon with celebrities finally telling stories they always wanted to make. She received wide acclaim for her work as cinematographer for the family drama, Going Bongo, a feature shot in Tanzania that premiered at the Pan African Film Festival (PAFF). She also shot the series Total Forgiveness as well as the series Downbeat for College Humor. Some of her other clients and credits include: Mattel, Lifetime/A&E, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard Magazine, Us Weekly, ATTN:, Big Breakfast, and Discovery. As well as being a cinematographer, Leslie also works as a camera operator on various projects, including Icarus, the Oscar winning feature length Documentary of 2018. Los Angeles based.
